Welded Tube USA operates a state-of-the-art Energy Tubulars manufacturing facility in Lackawanna, NY specializing in ERW Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) casing for the North American energy industry. The 109,000-square-foot facility is situated on approximately 45 acres and has production capacity of up to 350,000 tons annually.

The Lackawanna operation manufactures ERW casing in diameters from 4.500 inches to 9.625 inches and wall thicknesses up to 0.500 inches. Production capabilities include coil receiving and storage, decoiling, flattening, end welding, tube forming, electric resistance welding, internal/external weld scarf removal, seam annealing, sizing, cutting to length, inspection, and preparation for downstream heat treatment and threading.

Welded Tube produces ERW OCTG casing for onshore oil and gas applications in accordance with API 5CT requirements. Available casing includes API and proprietary grades designed to support demanding drilling and production environments.

OCTG capabilities include H40, J55, N80Q, L80, HCL80, P110, HCP110, and proprietary WTC55, WTC65, and WTC80 grades. Products are available as plain-end casing or can undergo additional heat treatment, threading, and coupling through Welded Tube's integrated North American operations.

The company's downstream capabilities include heat treatment and quenching, threading and coupling, lacquer coating, testing, inspection, and packaging. API and semi-premium connection capabilities support applications requiring conventional casing as well as higher-torque and fatigue-resistant connection performance.

Beyond Energy Tubulars, Welded Tube has extensive expertise in Hollow Structural Sections (HSS) and Mechanical ERW tubing. HSS capabilities include round, square, rectangular, and other structural tubing with tight tolerances, ID flash removal, custom cut-to-length processing, and production designed to support precision applications such as laser processing.

Mechanical ERW capabilities include round and custom-shaped tubing, including oval and tri-oval profiles, manufactured from low-, medium-, and high-strength steels including HSLA materials. Available surface conditions include cold rolled, hot rolled pickled and oiled, and hot rolled black. Mechanical tubing can be produced with tight tolerances and custom cut-to-length processing to support OEM and just-in-time manufacturing requirements.

Welded Tube utilizes continuous online non-destructive testing and proprietary testing equipment to verify weld strength, tensile performance, dimensional consistency, and product quality. The company also maintains metallurgical and tensile-testing capabilities throughout its manufacturing network.
