Each trade has varying requirements which affect the length of each Registered Apprenticeship program. MACNY’s approach is to conduct a skills assessment to take advantage of the apprentice’s knowledge and the skill sets learned in other careers or in school.

Based on the result of the assessment, MACNY customizes the apprentice’s education path, which may result in an apprenticeship not taking as long as the standard requirements.

Every apprentice completes the program with nationally recognized credentials, giving employers confidence in the skills and competencies they’ve earned.
