Integument manufactures high-performance surface protection films and coatings in an easy-to-install, tape-like form.  These materials provide best-in-class chemical and corrosion protection and create non-stick, low-friction, easy-clean surfaces for manufacturing, laboratory, and cleanroom environments, as well as for finished products used indoors or exposed to weather.  Custom orders range from 1 square-foot sheets to 2,000 square-foot rolls.  Integument also provides polymer surface modification to improve adhesion and printability, along with wide-format roll-to-roll converting and lamination up to 60 inches wide.  As a very small, specialized manufacturer, we work directly with customers to solve unique materials and manufacturing challenges.

Integument specializes in the fluoropolymers PTFE, FEP, and ECTFE.  Our proprietary plasma surface modification process increases fluoropolymer surface energy to 56 dynes/cm in a shelf-stable form, without surface roughening, discoloration, or residual contamination.  Our peel-and-stick coatings require only simple hand tools for installation and, unlike traditional wet coatings, require no mixing or measuring, produce no fumes or VOCs, require no cure time, and generate no chemical waste.  A variety of pressure-sensitive adhesives are available for bonding to a wide range of substrates.  

Integument has 30 years of experience supplying fluoropolymer tape products to OEMs, distributors, installers, and manufacturers across industrial and advanced manufacturing, chemical processing, and other demanding markets.  We have extensive experience with custom projects, working directly with customers to develop solutions for specific applications and technical challenges.  Many of Integument’s commercial products originated from government-funded R&D for advanced defense and aviation applications.
