GP:50 Profile

GP:50 NY LTD is a Grand Island, NY-based designer and manufacturer

GP:50 NY LTD is a Grand Island, NY-based designer and manufacturer of high-accuracy pressure, level, and temperature sensing equipment for aerospace, defense, oil and gas, industrial automation, test and measurement, automotive, hydraulic and pneumatic, subsea, water and wastewater, and other demanding applications.

Founded in 1986, GP:50 specializes in pressure transducers, pressure transmitters, differential pressure sensors, temperature transmitters, level measurement equipment, and customized sensing solutions engineered for applications requiring high accuracy, reliability, durability, and operation in extreme environments.

A major GP:50 capability is custom sensor design. In addition to a broad portfolio of standard products, GP:50 can engineer pressure, temperature, and related sensing products around unique customer requirements. Customization can include pressure range, accuracy, materials, process connections, electrical connections, output signals, environmental requirements, physical size, temperature performance, shock and vibration resistance, hazardous-location requirements, and other application-specific specifications.

GP:50 supports both small- and large-volume custom sensor production, making the company a resource for OEMs and engineering teams that need a specialized sensing component rather than an off-the-shelf industrial instrument.

Pressure sensing capabilities cover an exceptionally broad range, from very low differential pressures to ultra-high-pressure applications reaching as high as 100,000 PSI on selected product families. Available configurations include gauge, sealed gauge, absolute, vacuum, compound, and differential pressure measurement.

Aerospace and defense are major areas of expertise. GP:50 manufactures flight-heritage pressure and temperature transducers for commercial aviation, military aircraft, UAVs, satellites, space systems, military ground vehicles, test stands, and other mission-critical applications. Aerospace products are designed for demanding environments involving high shock, vibration, temperature variation, space constraints, and stringent accuracy and reliability requirements.

GP:50 also provides pressure instrumentation for aerospace and automotive test applications, including engine testing, transmission testing, brake testing, valve and pump testing, test stands, R&D, and product-validation systems.

Oil and gas sensing products are engineered for harsh upstream, downstream, subsea, and wellhead environments. Applications include drilling, fracking, cementing, coil tubing, Measurement While Drilling, wellhead monitoring, pipelines, compressors, pumps, and other high-pressure processes.

Products for oilfield and hazardous environments include hammer-union pressure transmitters, high-pressure transmitters, API-flanged pressure transmitters, subsea pressure and temperature transmitters, differential pressure sensors, and hazardous-location instrumentation.

GP:50's subsea sensing technology supports extreme-depth applications, with selected wellhead pressure and temperature transmitters designed for seawater submersibility to depths of 30,000 feet.

Industrial sensing products support hydraulic and pneumatic systems, steel mills, rolling mills, industrial machinery, process control, factory automation, pumps, compressors, test equipment, and other applications requiring rugged pressure measurement. All-welded stainless-steel construction is available across numerous product families for corrosion resistance and durability.

Digital and analog output options are available depending on product and application. Technologies include traditional analog outputs as well as CAN Bus, CANopen, J1939, HART communication, and other interfaces for integration into modern control, data-acquisition, and monitoring systems.

GP:50 also manufactures specialized flush-diaphragm pressure sensors for viscous, corrosive, or difficult media where conventional pressure ports may clog or plug. Available wetted materials include stainless steel and Inconel on selected products.

Additional markets include sanitary processing and water/wastewater applications. GP:50 instrumentation can support tank and well level, lift stations, weirs, ponds, pump and pipeline pressure, flow-related measurements, sanitary processes, and other fluid-monitoring requirements.
