COVID-19

The COVID -19 (coronavirus) event is a dynamic and global situation that the Buffalo Niagara Manufacturing Alliance (BNMA) is continuing to monitor. We are coordinating our response with our trusted advisors to ensure our members have the best information regarding the issue and how it pertains to human resources, accounting services, insurance coverage, legal liabilities, and banking and liquidity. You may find more information from our advisors here:

The BNMA is also monitoring the National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) response, including its action plan recommendations. The action plan reviews five main topics, including: keeping the workplace safe and healthy; protecting the community; providing economic stability; encouraging resilient growth in the United States; and encouraging long-term job growth. NAM will continue to update their response as COVID-19 continues to impact the manufacturing business community.

Finally, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is continuing to update the situation. Here are their best ways to prevent the spread of the illness:

 Clean your hands often
 Avoid close contact
 Stay home if you’re sick
 Cover coughs and sneezes
 Wear a facemask if you’re sick
 Clean and disinfect

As always, the BNMA is here to support its members. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to our team.
