Founded in 1904, Niagara Blower Company began as a manufacturer of high quality industrial air conditioning and heating equipment. Since that time Niagara Blower has transitioned into other heat transfer ventures and has earned a reputation for developing innovative engineered solutions for heat transfer applications. In 2008 Niagara Blower acquired the assets of Kathabar, Inc. and formed the subsidiary Kathabar Dehumidification Systems, Inc. (KDS).

The heat transfer solutions provided by Niagara Blower are served by two distinct product lines: WSAC™ closed-loop, evaporative liquid coolers & vapor condensers and "No-Frost"® refrigeration/dehumidification systems.

Wet Surface Air Cooled (WSAC) systems are optimized for industrial applications where rugged design/fabrication and cost effective, water efficient closed-loop cooling/condensing are required. WSAC heat exchangers have clear advantages in many applications involving liquid cooling or vapor condensing. WSAC systems have been successfully utilized in industries such as power, steel, refining, chemical & petrochemical processing, and food/beverage.

Niagara's "No-Frost"® refrigeration and dehumidification products are used in very diverse commercial and industrial applications ranging from blast freezers to breweries to cosmetic production. The unique characteristics of these products are energy efficient frost-free refrigeration, dew point depression, and air cleaning with airborne pathogen removal.

Kathabar Dehumidification Systems designs and manufactures liquid and dry desiccant systems for dehumidification and energy recovery. Highly reliable, Kathabar systems deliver precise humidity control by removing moisture while improving sanitation and energy efficiency.
