About AMC Precision, Inc.

AMC Precision is a fully equipped CNC machine shop that specializes in extremely tight tolerance work for the gas compression/turbo machinery, mechanical power transmission, and medical industries. We currently perform work for military applications as well. Hirth Couplings (also called Voith or V-Tooth couplings) are our specialty.

We have been in business for 23 years and have occupied our modern 18,000 square foot facility for 12 years.

Utilizing leading edge machinery with Unigraphics NX6 and NX7.5 CAD/CAM software, we excel at rapidly producing parts from drawings or CAD models.
We are ISO 9001:2000 compliant. Our inspection laboratory houses three coordinate measuring machines, including one with fully programmable five-axis capability.

CNC turning capacities are 40” diameter by 65” long. Manual turning capacities are 35” in gap, 26” over ways, 14” over x-slide, and 108” between centers. CNC milling capacities are 64” x-axis by 40” y-axis by 30” z-axis. Multiple machining centers have four and five axis capabilities.

We also offer rapid equipment repair and reverse engineering services for local/municipal governments or industry.
